Boxee es una aplicacion para liberar el contenido de musica, videos, etc a tu television!! Esta basado en XBMC (Xbox Box Media Center) el cual permitia con un xbox de primera generacion modificado ser usado como un media center. Por lo pronto Boxee esta en alpha y por lo tanto no esta abierto al publico del todo. Aquien le pueda interesar le puedo enviar invitaciones para que hagan parte del grupo de pruebas. Este es un video y este otro de como se puede utilizar con un apple tv. Si buscan mas en este mismo sitio o en you tube podran ver como usarlo en un mac mini.

Yesterday, there was a Chilli Cook-out contest at the university...some friends and I entered the contest under the name "frisoleros"...Tuesday night, we prepared it and during the contest the feeling was that people did like it...however, when it came to the prizes we came out empty handed :-( .

Last weekend was kind of busy, friday night, we drove to Austin to listen Trudie's boyfriend band play at BB Rovers..they play the new hick-hop...which I kind of liked...We stayed over and the next day we went hicking around their house...


Saturday afternoon, we came back to San Antonio just to pick up clothes and then head to Boerne, Tx where Erin was sitting a country house for the weekend..she kindly enough invited us to join her...we played pool, drank some beer and watched the F1 race....

The day is getting closer...for now we must conform ourselves with the trailes of Episode III "Revenge of the Sith" which opens May 19, 2005...enter here to watch it.....
However, this would not be the only movie this year on the Star Wars franchise, as Slashdot.org reports, Stars Wars Revelations [an independent film ] will debut on April 2005...enter here to watch their trailer....may the force be with you....

There are two "new" programs that you should consider: Skype and Picasa. The first one, lets you speak to another person using this same program over the internet...for free (PC to PC) and if you feel the urge to call somebody to their hardline you can do it too..for a very low price. The second program Picasa ("the iPhoto for PC's") allows us tu organize, edit, export, email and create web pages with our collection of digital images.
Both are worth checking out...until next time...
